Details Itinerary

Day 1  Arrive Varanasi (Benares)
 
Upon your arrival at airport/ railway station, meet with our driver and get transferred to hotel. Later start city tour of Varanasi and visiting various Temples like as New Vishwanath Temple (B.H.U.), Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple, Tridev Temple, Tulsi Manas Temple, Durga Kund Temple & Ganesh Temple (NOTE:- Most Temple gets closed between 12:00 PM - 03:00 PM). In evening attend Ganga Aarti ceremony with boat ride at Main Ghat. Overnight stay at the hotel.

 

Day 2  Varanasi (Benares)–(10 Kms/ 30 Mns Approx.) Sarnath- Varanasi (Benares)
 
Early morning proceed to Gangaji for holy bath and by walk visit Main ancient Kashi Vishwanath Temple also called the Golden Temple because of the gold plating on its roof, Maa Annapurna Devi Temple, Vishalakshi Temple & Kaal Bhairav Temple. Return back to hotel for breakfast (Breakfast serve in hotel till 10:00 A.M.).

After few rest you can explore local famous Varanasi Silk & Carpet product. Then proceed for the excursion to Sarnath – 10 Kms away from Varanasi is the fabled place which bears the testimony to its great past where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon to his disciples, expounding the principles of Buddhism. Visit Dhamekh Stupa, Dharmarajika Stupa, Chaukhandi Stupa, Jain Temple, Buddha Temple, Sarnath Museum (National Emblem) – (Friday closed), Ashok Pillar and Deer Park. In evening light & sound show at Dhamekh Stupa (Show ticket on your own cost, Timing: 7:30 – 8:00 P.M.) Return back to Varanasi (Benares) and overnight stay at the hotel.

 

Day 3  Varanasi (Benares)–(250 Kms/ 6:00 Hrs Approx.) Bodhgaya  
 
Morning after breakfast check out from hotel and ride to Bodhgaya. On arrival check in to hotel and later visit Mahabodhi Temple, Bodhi Tree (where he attained Enlightment), Great Buddha Statue, Chinese Temple & Royal Bhutan Monastery. Overnight stay at the hotel.

 

Day 4  Bodhgaya–(15 Kms/ 30 Mns Approx.) Gaya-(65 Kms/ 1:45 Hrs Approx.) Rajgir -(15 Kms/ 30 Mns Approx.) Nalanda – (82 Kms/ 2:30 Hrs Approx.) Bodhgaya
 
Morning after breakfast ride to Gaya then visit Vishnupad Temple & Maa Mangla Gauri Temple. 

After that ride to Rajgir then visit Buddhist Temple, Naulakha Jain Temple, Hot Springs Bath-Brahmakunda & Laxminarayan Temple.

Then proceed to Nalanda on arrival visit ancient Nalanda University & Surya Temple. 

Return back to Bodhgaya. Overnight stay at the hotel.

 

Day 5  Bodhgaya -(250 Kms/ 6:00 Hrs Approx.) Varanasi (Benares)– Departure

Morning after breakfast check out from hotel and ride back to Varanasi (Benares). On arrival departure transfer to the airport/ railway station to connect your flight/ train for onward destination.
